MC2 (SW) Carly A. Duran
MC2 Carly A. Duran attended the ‘25-’26 Advanced Military Photojournalism Program as an undergraduate student. A native of Brentwood, California, Duran began her military career on November 10, 2021. Duran’s previous assignment was USS Blue Ridge (2022-2025). Her most memorable moments from her time at Syracuse University include learning the fundamentals of photography and storytelling from industry professionals; every week there was a new way to improve skills and artistry. Upon graduation, Duran is scheduled to report to the Pentagon in Washington, D.C.
