MC1 Keenan L. Daniels

MC1 Keenan L. Daniels attended the ‘25-’26 Advanced Military Photojournalism Program as a graduate student. A native of Jacksonville, Florida, Daniels began his military career on September 7, 2017. Daniels’ previous assignments include USS Nimitz (2018-2021) and Commander, Naval Air Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet (2022-2025). His most memorable moments from his time at Syracuse University include learning from masters in their specialized crafts. Upon graduation, Daniels is scheduled to report to White House Communication Agency in Washington, D.C. The documentary storytelling, multimedia production, and photojournalism ethics he developed through the Newhouse School's Advanced Military Visual Journalism program directly prepared him for the demands of historical documentation at the highest levels of government. At WHCA, Daniels will apply that training to one of the most consequential visual records in the world the American presidency.
