MC1 Jason A. Waite

MC1 Jason A. Waite attended the ‘25-’26 Advanced Military Photojournalism Program as an undergraduate student. A native of Granbury, Texas, Waite began his military career on February 27, 2017. Waite’s previous assignments include Navy Public Affairs Support Element West, Coronado, California (2018-2022) and Navy Office of Community Outreach, Millington, Tennessee (2022-2025). His most memorable moments include studying under Professor Gregory Heisler. Upon graduation, Waite is scheduled to report to USS Carl Vinson in San Diego, California, where he will leverage his technical expertise, guiding junior Sailors in developing strategic, narrative-driven content in support of the U.S. Navy’s mission.
