
MC1 (SW/AW) Connor D. Blake
MC1 Conner D. Blake attended the ‘25-’26 Advanced Military Motion Media Program as an undergraduate student. A native of Pensacola, Florida, Blake began his military career on April 18, 2017. Blake’s previous assignments include USS Theodore Roosevelt (2018-2021), American Forces Network Rota, Spain (2021-2025), and USS Hershel Williams (2023-2024). His most memorable moments from his time at Syracuse University include meeting Professor Santiago and Nancy, bonding with and learning from Marine Corps brothers, and making friends with civilian film and communication majors. Upon graduation, Blake is scheduled to report to USS Theodore Roosevelt at Naval Air Station North Island, where he will assume duties as leading petty officer for the ship’s media department, leveraging his leadership and technical expertise to guide Sailors in developing strategic, narrative-driven communication campaigns that effectively support Carrier Strike Group 9’s mission to provide a ready-response force for power projection, deterrence, maritime security, humanitarian assistance, and regional stability.
